BD 305196 PrecisionGlide 18G x 1½" Hypodermic Needle

The BD 305196 PrecisionGlide™ 18G x 1½" Hypodermic Needle is a sterile, single-use needle designed for general clinical applications requiring an 18-gauge needle with additional length. Featuring BD PrecisionGlide technology, this needle combines a thin-wall design, tri-bevel tip and proprietary lubricant designed to provide ease of penetration.

At 1½ inches (38.1 mm) long, BD 305196 provides an additional half-inch of needle length compared with the BD 305195 18G x 1" model. The needle also features the standard pink 18G hub for quick gauge identification and is packaged 100 sterile needles per box.

BD PrecisionGlide™ Needle Technology

BD PrecisionGlide needles incorporate a thin wall, tri-bevel tip and proprietary lubricant designed to support ease of penetration.

The thin-wall construction increases the needle's internal diameter without increasing its outside diameter. This allows greater flow compared with a regular-wall needle of the same gauge while retaining the external diameter associated with an 18G needle.
